Dr. Joseph Raftery (1913-1992) speaks about archaeological discoveries at Lough Gara.

One of numerous recordings made at various An Tóstal events, festivals celebrating Irish life which ran from 1953 to 1958.

The recording itself is undated but Raftery delivered a lecture to Boyle Tóstal Council on 20 April 1953.
